Our mission is simple but profound: To spread awareness and create a buzz about Haitian cuisine and culture. We believe that through food, we can celebrate the beauty of Haitian culture, enrich the community, promote inclusivity, and educate students about the traditions and communities around the cuisine.

The HCT was born from a dream rooted in culture, tradition, and pride.

Haitian dishes offer a symphony of flavors, always leaving you wanting more! despite its incredible diversity and depth, it remains in the shadows throughout the states.

About Valery, CEO/Founder of the HCT

Hi, My name is Valery

and I am the founder and owner of La Perle Caribbean Restaurant located in Everett, Massachusetts. I have spent over +15 years in culinary service and operated my business for over a decade now. I also work as a nurse practitioner caring for patients in my community. This year I am embarking on an exhilarating and exciting tour that will take the nation by storm. My goal is to introduce Haitian cuisine on a national level and really create a buzz and excitement around the cuisine and culture. My hope is to rewrite the narrative of Haiti in the U.S. and foster a global impact.
